we are so excited to have her here. a special thanks to abby and brandon for giving my girls a baby to snuggle and pretend is their own. they’ve got the baby bug and the davis factory is closed for business. who could ask for anything sweeter?

just anxious tonight for a new sweet blonde {make that brunette!} baby that will join our family this week. dear abby makes beautiful babies, and baby do they make her belly grow! i’ve gotten to spend some time with her the last few days, and lilly already loves me… i can tell by the way she gives me high fives when i massage abby’s belly check back soon, i may share some more shots of her amazing belly and show you what lilly looks like when she makes her debut.

i can’t tell you how bad i wanted to shoot a pregnant belly session when i drove by and spotted “Your Mama’s” drive thru! of course it had to be the right mama, with an appreciation for my sarcasm. seemed like i had to wait forever, but finally the call came and Heather was my girl.it’s really fun to watch a couple go from dating, to old married couple to expectant parents full of excitement and anticipation.heather’s totally gonna be a {BD} hot mom huh?i’m kind of a big fan of the mcguffeys, more so each time i’m around them. they pulled off the serious shots quite well. but truth be told, we were making jokes and laughing the majority of the time {which makes for a great work day} and most of it was at each other’s expense {which makes me all kinds of comfortable and happy}↑

i’ve been getting some emails asking if i do prenatal shoots. the answer is yes! i wanna help document the growth of your family as early as possible. whether you are a mama who loves being pregnant or not, i really think you will miss your baby bump someday… eventually. and i always share with people how much my girls love to look at the maternity pics i had done- it makes them so full of wonder to see where they came from. don’t you love to see old pics of your parents? baby bump sessions make for pretty cool heirlooms if you ask me

here are a few faves from past sessions… here’s a cool idea for baby shower invites. you can give me the text you want and i can embed it in an image like this one that has lots of negative space. then you just make 4×6 prints and modern custom invites are done!

oh yeah, and a fun way to make the announcement after your gender determination ultrasound!
