happy mother’s day to everyone! here’s some 3 1/2 day old sweetness to warm your heart. casey now has three girls to call her mom!and brock… well he’s just got his hands full… of sugar and spice and everything drama i bet for a full 18 years at leastseriously, their story is my very fave of 2009. so it goes something like this:

a warm weekday in august…

1. blake (the oldest) goes off to kindergarten

2. brock goes to final appointment and has vasectomy surgery

3. brock makes it home, recovers in bed. meanwhile, casey comes home, takes a pregnancy test and it’s POSITIVE

4. together they freak out?!!!! laugh hysterically at the irony

5. call friends and family so they can freak out and laugh hysterically at the irony

look how perfect their family is now, plus one. sometimes we think we have a plan or we have some sort of control and we just have no idea how clueless we are

Ayla’s mama and family are so so sweet. I’m blessed to have met them and i’m excited to watch this baby girl grow with two protective brothers watching over her. Congratulations on her safe early arrival! Can’t wait for your little models next session…

{and i would add cutest too} this is nicksonand his new little bro noah at one week old. kinda have the same smile huh?similar kissable piggies too! tempal and nick have got two of the most adorable boys on the planetfave!

newborns are one of my favorites for many reasons. tempal, thank you so much for the honor of capturing noah in his perfect newness.

forget oldest child syndrome and all that first-born stuff. some families jump right from mr. and mrs. to “table for four please”

will & wyatt. can i keep em?

i always wanted twins so i fully expected to be jealous of her double blessing, but actually, you can’t feel anything but admiration for a new mama with her hands this full!

still 5 weeks from their due date! i’d say that makes ‘em not only my youngest twins, but my youngest clients ever.
